Pale, bright yellow. Aromas of white peach, oatmeal and iodiney oyster shell. The palate offers a captivating combination of sweet white peach and pineapple fruit and strong underlying minerality, along with a hint of vanilla. Turns more austere and dry on the long, stony finish. This is not obviously better than the Sechet.

Chablis

Chablis, the northernmost Burgundy region, is famed for its crisp, mineral-driven Chardonnay wines. Unlike rich, oaky Chardonnays, Chablis wines, influenced by the cool climate and limestone-rich soils, feature vibrant acidity and flavours of green apple, citrus, and flint. Ideal with seafood, especially oysters, Chablis wines come in four appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru. Esteemed producers like Domaine William Fèvre, François Raveneau, and Vincent Dauvissat are known for their classic, terroir-expressive wines.
